The pan is made from carbon steel with a black speckled non-stick coating and a polished steel rim, approx. 24 cm across and 7 cm deep. A locking side latch closes the ring around the removable base, then opens so the ring lifts away and the cake stays on the base.

It is the natural choice for cheesecakes and cakes that need an easy release, and for any cake that would break if it were turned upside down.
