It is made of light aluminium in silver, with deep straight sides and a rolled rim. The larger diameter gives a wide cake that serves more slices. Aluminium is light to lift in and out of the oven, even when the pan is full, and the plain silver finish lets you see the bake colour as it browns.

Use it for large sponge cakes, layered celebration cakes, basbousa or a big date cake for guests. At approx. 26 cm across and 7 cm deep, it suits family-size bakes and stores easily in a kitchen cupboard between uses.
